Challenge #86

This week the Diva has challenged us to break free and work outside the border. I was really excited to get started as I was looking forward to see how my tiles evolved without the border limits.

Here are two of my tiles. I definitely enjoyed creating these and feel that I need to play a bit more with the concept of outside the border. Hope you enjoy them.
This was my first

This my next one...
I really enjoyed the freedom I allowed myself in this challenge, and to see how the work evolved as I added lines.. so thanks Diva !!

  1. Both are very beautiful. In the second one you can almost feel the wind blowing everything to the right, from the paper.

  6. These are great inspiration for a newbie like me. Love the second one and I agree with the comment on tangles blowing in the wind.

  7. The first tile is really a study in design. I love how randomly claim center stage! Your second tile flows with beauty!

  9. Great pieces. The second one is my favorite. It looks like clean laundry drying in the wind. Great flow, and use of tangles.

  10. Both are great examples of breaking free - and I can't decide which one is my favorite because each time I look at them I see something new ...
